Finally a pillar with no wait.

I built this one for a customer. We fit it into the dimensions he gave us but he forgot to mention the overflow. So it will not fit.

The dimensions are 16" long by 13" deep and 12" tall. This would fit perfect on one half of a 40 breeder or a small cube tank. Cost is $325 shipped and is available now. Our custom projects are back ordered about two and a half months, maybe three months right now. We only do one or two pieces a week. So if you want a pillar without the wait this is the one to get. I have a second pillar in the kiln to fire on sunday that is also available if it survives the fire. But this one is nicer IMO.

That is one nice looking Piece.
It looks very similar to the Rock Structures I have in my Tank.

What is your Product Constructed from ?

Ours is ceramic. Has holes made for frag plugs and no need to piece it together. Just drop it in and let it cycle.

It all depends on how detailed you want it and how much texturing goes into it. The above pillar has over four hours of sculpt time into it. Plus and additional two weeks of babysitting it, touch up and 18 hours in a kiln all by itself.

I pyramid/pillar that size would have to be in two pieces. So two fires. I can do a one piece pillar at 17". Most pieces are running between $275-$325 shipped. I know they are expensive but the last pillar I sent out was over $100 to just pack and ship. I do go a little overboard on the packing but I want it to get to you unbroken. That isn't always easy with UPS or Fed Ex.

IMO,
The Pricing is not that extreme.
After I searched ( Months ) the LFS for the Rock Structure I liked ( Haitian )
Paid the going Price for Live Rock
Sun Bleached to kill off all of the PEST Algae.
Purchase 30 Tubes of Aqua-Mend
And the Time it took me ( Way to many Hours to count ) to cut the Rock to the Shapes I needed to make my Structures.
It would have been Quicker to have you make me up a few pieces.

Here is the other pillar I have available. This one is lightly textured. It is out standard texture. Unless someone requests a rough look this is how the pieces look. These are great for encrusting corals.

This one is 14.5" one way, 13" the other and 13" tall. As you can see there is four different looks to this pillar. It is all one piece. Price is $275 shipped.
