The dimensions are 15"x15"x15" tall. So far I have five hours into the design and texturing with about another hour of texturing. Then two-three weeks of babysitting it until it is dry enough to be fired. Enjoy.
That is impressive. I'll bet when you're near it you can hear the theme from 2001: A space odyssey playing. baaah mbaaah BAH-BAH!
Any guess on what it will weigh after firing?
Between 25-35 pounds. I can't remember what I started with. And I also put a little more detail in it since these pictures. I took some of the sharpness out of it and gave it more of a coralline encrusted over piece of liverock look. I was telling my wife as we sat staring at it for 20 minutes tonight. I could see putting a sweet copper brown glaze with a gold fleck in it and putting it in my living room on one of my end tables.
