Welcome, welcome, welcome. I've had a 24" Aquatic Life T5 fixture on my nano since the beginning of the year and absolutely love it, so when the power outage and the on/off stuff that happened before it blew one of the lights on my halide fixture I bought the 48" 6x54 T5 light to replace it and my tank is happy as can be, not to mention that the colors on the corals are popping right out at you when you walk by it. I've only got 4 lamps in it now since Marine Depot didn't bother to bubble wrap the ones that came in the package and all six of the tubes were disappointingly bent right in the middle (they're shipping the new ones now) but even with just the four it looks great, everything is opening wide, AND there's only one cord to the fixture and the timer is built right in. The MH fixture had three cords and two ballasts and required a large power strip with three timers attached which resulted in a spaghetti pile of crap that I just kept stuffing behind the tank. I think maybe the Aquatic Life team has actually had some experience dealing with tanks themselves because that single cord built in timer thing is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

Jacki I am glad you are getting good use from the newer 6 lamp fixture. Most of us here have tanks of our own so all that we do is based on our own experiences as well as customer feedback.

I have 2 of the 24" linkable T5 fixtures and a 4 bulb 24" fixture. I love' em and my father was so impressed he got the 6 bulb T5 fixture for his 90g!
