Turbo snail poo...

We've just started a reef tank. We have a 360l main tank with 50kg of
live rock and we have opted for a sump tank with miracle mud and
calerpa. We have about 20 turbo snail and some hermits. #ed_op#br#ed_cl#

What is strange is that we've just moved a turbo snail and put it
directly in the sump tank (on it's own). It now seems to be producing
lots of tiny black poos! It may have been doing it before, but it is
very noticable now (there are about 50 of the things in only one night)#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

Hope some of you have had some simillar experiences and could advice - is the snail ill? Should we remove it?#ed_op#br#ed_cl#

you probably never noticed it before because something was breaking it up before you noticed. i wouldnt worry too much about it. if its visually unappealing stir it up.
