This is what I am doing with my downsizing.
I ordered the following things to put together an air moving monster
Three of these

This will power 6 fans from one chord.  Uses a 4 pin moles adapter.

ANd this to power the fan port.

they stay cool to the touch, and make no noise... the power is run through the serial cable from a wall wart running into the control box which is located remotely.
at the same time, the density of the lights is a lot lower than yours so those might not work so well for you ;-)

That's a lot of air for an 18db fan.

I am considering water-cooling mine for some free heat in the winter. During the summer, I will switch from tank water to an external reservoir. It's a standard CPU/GPU/chipset cooling system. It was something I was thinking about as i lie in bed, unable to sleep.

Hope that PC cooling kit doesn't have copper in it (most do). Even aluminum isn't a great idea, as it will corrode fast. I've even thought about some of the Milspec anodizing processes, but even then it's not a guarantee that it will stay corrosion free.

I was thinking about that too.. since I switched to LED, my heaters have run a lot more so I was considering dumping some heat, somehow, into the tank.
I got two of the fans today.  These things are massive.  If I am not careful I might be dealing with a harrier jet ;).  I did not realize how large 180mm was I was more interested in air movement v db level to keep my wife and the leds happy.
