They should feed on what it is you're feeding the tank. What are you feeding, how often, and explain your lighting. BTW, welcome aboard!!!

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#2 dual power compact 65 W daylights and 2 dual power compact 65 W actinic and 2 blue lunar led (420nm) lights. 3 clowns, 1 lawnmower blenny, l royal gramma, 1 coral beauty, 2 cleaner shrimp, 1 fire red shrimp, 2 sally light foots, 3 emerald crabs, 50 snails, 10 hermits, 1 brittle star, 1 serpant star, 1 sand sifter all living, what seems to be happily in 3 inches of live sand and 130 pounds of live rock. Also enjoying the "view" are the bubble, torch and polyps. Feeding 2 times a day brine shrimp, formula one. Thanks for the info!#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

IMO, due to the natural nature and slower metabolizm of salt water fish, it's not neccessarry to feed more than every other day. Should be fine, though, as long as nutrient build up does not get too high and begin an algae or cyanobacteria bloom.
