Once again it has been suggested to me, to increase my flow. I'm having a minor prob with some RSA. It has showed up mostly on some zoa frags with a tad on the sand bed. I've increased WC's to 2x weekly.
Today I bought an Oceanic nano 250gph. It has quit the flow. I'm afraid it may be to much flow. So I've put it on a timer to run only at night when most of the corals are closed. 250gph seems to be the smallest power head made.
Any comments on this?

I have heard that more flow can help with red slime, but I have yet to see it proven.....
I like the maracyn approach to getting rid of it. Lights out for 3 days can help at times too.
I wouldnt be surprised if more flow help keep it from forming, but I havnt seen it help an existing problem.
Just my experiance.

Can ya get the Maracyn from the LFS? What about Chemipure?
Ya it is strange about the zoas.

Ive found maracyn at meijer, along with local fish stores. Petsmart/petco usually even carry it.

Chemiclean works great.
Yes it does! I've used it before with wonderful results. But some folks here have talked about Maracyn and I was just wondering if it had something Chemiclean does'nt.
