I have never been really good at rock placement in the aquarium, but this time I would like to have nice rock structures to help make my reef tank more pleasing to look at. Any tips or suggestions on rock placement / building? Also anyone know of a service that will not charge an arm or a leg to help with design and building of the rock work? Thanks in advance

Scaping is one of my most favorite aspects of this hobby. Some are into the lighting and electronic gadgets (controllers) others, plumbing and skimmers.
Mine is scaping. Here's a link that I love fumbling through from time to time.

I like the minimalist look lately. Thats what i kinda baised my tank off of, I just didnt throw a bunch of rock in there and make a wall of it and calll it a day.
A tip from me to kinda help you, think of a reef. Picture what it would look like, lots of randomness in the rock work.
You can always go through a bunch of members build threads here to help get an idea.
