As we all know how unique these creatures are, I read something interesting in the latest issue of Coral Magazine on them.

It mentioned not only can they move each of their eyes in different directions simultaneously, but they also have 3D vision, so they can see something in 3D with only one of their eyes. Pretty awesome to have that ability as the hunters they are...

That is pretty cool. Why don't more people keep them?

i loved mine! i got rid of it because a frag tank was more important to me because i was running out of room, i will for sure in the future get another, they are one of my favorite things ive ever owned in saltwater, so much life and personality, so much action all the time, its fun with you are drinking with your buddys and you drop a snail in and watch it beat away at it! i loveee them! i had a wennerae last time, i think next time i am going to get a peacock

Very cool and interesting creatures - lots of personality as you said. The peacocks are gorgeous, but expensive - I love seeing pictures of them though, so when you get one be sure and post up pictures.

Because you pretty much have to have a species specific tank in order to keep them. Depending on what you have in your tank, they can/will snatch & eat your fish.

they do nice by themselves in a coral tank, fun to watch but +1 they will take out fish and all your hermits and snails eventually, they also may move some coral to close their dens at night.
