The last 6 months have been a real bummer for this tank. When I ripped out a ceiling, furnace and duct work the water quality in all my tanks took a big hit even though they were covered. I lost both my clams all colorful z&p's, 4 acan colonies, 10 chalices, 4 varieties of candy cane. The only lps to survive were the orange wall hammer, a frogspawn that is coming back and a pencil eraser size head of regular hammer. Now that the water is back where it needs to be and a re-aquascape its time to start collecting corals again. Here is my starting point.

Decided at the last minute to go to the swap and Im glad we did. My wife won 4 draws from the livestock raffle and picked up a few more nice pieces. Here is the first pick from the raffle, camera didnt grab just how bright red this is. Pics of the rest coming soon. Also added a blue midas blenny that wont hold still for a pic.

Heather went "Japanese tourist" on the blenny and this is the best of her 200 shots. Fish is over 4inch and I thought we were getting the standard midas when I said I would buy it. Always amazes me how blennies can perch in corals and not **** them off. Six more swap coral pic before monday coming up.

Oh my! Is that a beautiful Blenny! My Tail Spot just loves perching on my Favia, doesn't bother it a bit :)

Still working on more pics. Went 52 hours with no power. Had a small generator running but the heater just couldnt keep up with the house temp at 60. Tank got down to 66 degrees before I rigged up a heat exchanger using a maxijet, some air line and an oil filled space heater. Things looked a bit rough when power came back on but fine the next day. Only lost a green chromis but I think that was more from the shock of lights and powerheads popping on.

Glad to hear someone pulled through the long power outage!!! I have read far too many sad stories. So glad to hear a relatively positive one!!!!
Looking forward to new pics!
