so my fungia is ... dying? it is showing allot of skeleton. it is stable for now, but once
a month or so, it spreads. i dont know what it is my waters fine. copper is fine and my
dosing has not changed it was in the tank fine for 6 months. so im wondering if it can
be saved. there was some talk of rts?

Is it getting too much light? too much flow? Have you been feeding it?

Is it being stung by another coral? I had a fungia lose tissue when a pagoda coral shed a slimey layer (after being exposed to the air during a water change).

Cynarina is a likely culprit. I've never had a cynarina so I can't speak from personal experience, but they can expand to be quite large and may be stinging the fungia. Check the tank a few hours after lights out or before lights on to see if the cynarina is touching the fungia. If so you should move one or the other.
