Started this back in October.
Things are going quite well. Vortech MP10. I had to replace the stock halogen MR11 bulbs with some MR16 LEDs. I also have my old 18 watt PCs sitting on top. I plan to retrofit some more LEDs in the stock hood. I have some zoas, acroporas, caps, duncans, frogspawn, gonipora, red dragon, couple of peppermint shrimp, and an emerald crab.

Looks real sharp, John! Those are really nice looking tanks, probably perfect for an office. I had a Nano cube in the office for years and loved it. That orange monti looks to be doing okay under the LEDs - that will be a good experiment for you to see how the SPS do in your tank.

Nice meeting you the other day at the club meeting! Nice looking setup there.
Wonder if those exotic stunner strips would work in that tank?

Jim, can you send me a link for those strips? I'd like to check them out.
Here are the ones I have been watching. They are coming out with some new ones for reef aquariums.

They look similar to that one. If you're interested, I have one here you can try out. It seems to do a decent job lighting up my 29 biocube. I imagine it would do well over your fluval edge.

Thanks for the encouragement. I love having this sit right next to me at work.
Here is a full shot and one other picture. Sorry the pictures are a little blurry. These were taken with my iPhone.

Nice job, John. I have one of these that I just took down. It was an old FW setup. This is making me think of firing it up again. These pics look familiar....they're on the nanotuners website..

Creefer,
Yeah, I sent Nick @ Nanotuners some pictures so others could get excited about the potential of these aquariums. The lights are really outstanding. Thanks for your encouraging comments.

John, thats a beautiful nano reef you have going! I haven't seen that tank turned into a reef, but what a cool little set up! The should put a picture of your tank on the box and I bet they would sell more :)

Jim, the tank continues to do very well. Here is what the Duncans look like now. I did cut them in half already. So I started with 4 heads and we now have about 20+.

Unfortunately, I lost all of the corals in this tank during the power outage here in Lansing. If anyone has any frags for sale prior to the swap and is within an hour of Lansing, I would love to buy some to reseed it. I'd hate to wait until February. :)
