I really need help with deciding which ones to get. They all offer the same thing-all differently priced. But as far as performance is concerned I've only heard people talking about Nova Extremes. Anyone?

First what and who is Kees? Second I'm looking at the AquaticLife 4x24" t5ho. German made reflectors, digital control timer and 2x1w lunar LEDs. I know most don't like or need lunars but I'll sit for hours (yes I said hours) in front of my tank, especially at night. That's when all the really cool creatures come out :) @269.00 a little more then I wanted to pay but I also like the built in timer, so I'm willing to pay a little more.

Its a store outside of detroit a bit north. Keesaquarium.com. they been very good to deal with n Dave the owner has good staff to help you with questions. I do the work on the set up n love the 1 plug n timers. They even beat price I found on the web plus took bulbs out n discounted it so I could get ati instead. Add stunner strips to the edge for extra pop. Love leds at night aswell. Here is a pic Dave emailed me before I bought stunners from em. http://184.72.239.143/mu/b8f4d4a4-b42e-4bbe.jpg

Kees is also a sponsor of Captive Reefs... you can find their banners all over this site, and also in the Sponsor section. For CRs sake, make sure you tell them you learned about 'em here!

I can second the aquaticlife fixture, I have the 36" fixture 4xbulb T5 with 2 of the stunner strips hooked up to it as well. And it does "pop" with color. Also another added feature is the single cord/ all in one digital timer.
And if you save some money down the road replace the day bulbs with some ATI aquablue specials, and the antinics with some aquascience blue+ (I think those are there 22000k lamps). And it looks amazing.
Also the hanging kit ( if it's in an area that you can attach it), makes tank maintence a breeze(as well as top down shots). Having to slide the fixture back and forth, or unplugging it and taking it off then putting it back on, is just a hassle.
I'll also second Kees as a great place to shop at, Dave and Jason are both great. I got my stunner's there. And most of my corals. :)
Just my two cents.

I've made up my mind aaaaand-AquaticLife 4x24 t5ho with digital timer. Im going to do some price comparison with shipping. Marine and Reef has them for 269$ free shipping. Kees I'll have to check out.
You all have been wonderful in helping me choose the best lights. Buuut I have another question :)
I've only seen talk about all the blues. What about the whites? Doesn't a tank need whites for daylight and photosynthesis? Can ya tell I'm new in my knowledge of lighting and what's best for the reef as a whole? :) :)

With the ATI's the blue special is a very white bluish. They do say that it has bands in the needed colors. The blue + is very blue, somewhat actintic.
I personally would say get a 10-12 k bulb to go along with the blues since shallower water creatures can use it. I didnt put one with mine but I have a 10k halide. When I buy a new one I will go to at least 12k maybe even 14.
