I ended up going the 150W route instead of the 70W route, so I've got some never-fired Astralux 70W DE 14,000K bulbs for sale. I'm asking $50 each shipped anywhere in the US.

PM me with questions.

Thanks!
Eric

These guys will fit in the standard Fc2 DE lamp holders right?

Think they'd be great for smaller tanks. Have you got a light spectrum chart for them? Can't seem to find one of their website.

What the heck is an Fc2 DE lamp holder? lol

I know for sure that they fit into the Regent fixtures. :)

Awesome little bulb, thanks Eric!

Just did a little hacking on what used to be a 500w halogen work light (actually very little hacking cut a few wires and inserted a Fullham 70w MH ballast), the bulb fits right into the lamp holder without any modifications.

But now she's a 70w MH pendant. Going to be fantastic over my 5g MB nano.... ooops guess that means I'm in for the nano build now

Sorry no pics yet, our new digi took a crap on us, (of course it waited until it was well out of warranty) something else to add to the list of things to rip apart to see if I can figure out what went wrong and fix..

Man i hope those 70 watt lamps last you better than Thea did for me
I was doing good to average 5 month out of them some a lot less
before the par was shot
Tried them over a 29 they'd do good for a short time but after 4 or 5 months they'd
just go down hill
