BK's 17 Shallow Nano Contest Entry!!!

Hey all,
Recently i bought a custom made 17 gallon rimless from kileysmama (amy). Decided it was time to have a true reef tank that is stocked unlike my previous 90 gallon.
so far the equipment is:
28x12x12 17.5 gallon rimless tank
koralia 2
cheap waterfall pump
150 watt heater(temporary till replaced)
oddysea 4x24w t5ho with oddysea 12000k and actinic(soon to be replaced)

1 Bar Goby

if im doing this right i add 40 so i have a total of $80 down the drain?

Looks like a good start. Are you going to do something with the waterfall up top? Like is there something that will use an out of water yet wet area to grow?

got a new coral today i got from the VI Pets in Jenison, had a good time talking to dan the man. Anyways i got this hydnophora for a good price but it will count as 30 due to my employee discount :P

tank is doing great, i got a little algae going which im sure it means i should replace my MH bulb lol. no newly added things so its kinda boring but the swap is in 9 days!!! saving my pennies
