Hi Evil,
Had some questions regarding the Thomas research drivers that were added to your store. I have a 5'x2'x2' tank and im planning out my LED build for it. I plan on getting 48 XP-G Neutral Whites, 48 XP-E Blue, and 48 XP-E Royal Blue. I intend on doing 3 pendants of 48 LEDS (16 of each color).
I was checking out the specs on the Thomas research 200W TRC-200 Dimmable Series and was thinking this will be the way to go. 700mA has a max output of 143-285 VDC and 1050mA has a max output of 95-190 VDC. XP-G are rated to be 3.3v at 1050mA and XP-E are rated at about 3.4 at 700mA. Correct me if my math is wrong but I belive that means that 48 XP-G would be 3.3*48=158.4 which is well within the range at 1050mA and XP-E would be 3.4*48=163.2 which also will be in range for 700mA. Is that correct?
Second question is are these Thomas Research similar to the Meanwell drivers in which they do not need a seperate power supply?
Final question is I was also checking out the new Nanocustoms Duo led driver enclosure (I'm impressed!) and wondering if you will be putting the 200W Thomas research drivers in those at all?
