250ltr is aprox. 75 gal. U.S. also there are a lot of threads here about sumps.....if that is an option for you I would recommend it! I started out with a canister filter and man what a PITA! Those things are like a nitrate factory or something! also this link might help you for finding out about sumps. melevsreef.com
