Here are some recent pics of the tank I stock and maintain for our local senior center.

It still has alot of growing to do, but I think it's a good start for nearly no budget.

Special thanks to MASM for donating the inital Tank stand canopy and equipment.

Also to Mike Howe and the family of the late Ron Mesarosh for their significant donations.

Hopefully in another year it will be really something to see.

Thanks!

They really do enjoy it.

It's fun to listen to them say did you see that paisley fish? (mandarin)

Or that one fish is bullying another.

Thanks everyone!

The mandarin is decent size, nothing like the beast at the Toledo zoo.

I think it draws attention due to coloration, and distint swimming style.

There is always something to add or tinker with, I'll post up updates from time to time.

On my list of future upgrades are, replacing the Tunze 9010 with a reef octopus skimmer., Adding an ozone reactor, and perhaps a bio-pellet reactor.

We installed a new 195 Great lakes aquarium. A bit of a restart. But I'm sure it will grow out fine. There are two Reef octopus BH800s skimmers now.http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c333/aj93x/fish/IMG_5282-Copy.jpg

I couldn't think about getting gear from you, when I was trying to take in all your awesome setups.
But thanks!

We did a 100 gallon waterchange a couple weeks ago. It went pretty well. I think we will try to do that from now on.
