no your fish will not be safe!!!!!! Mantis shrimp are one if not the most intellegent inverts in the sea. They are tenacious hunters. You will want to get him out as soon as you can. Or your fish will eventually all perish. A good way to do this is to take the rock and flush it with some fresh water and he should come out. Or you can use the inverted bottle trap. But if you have snails and hermits you will catch everyone ot those also. I had a peacock mantis in some TBS live rock and he killed 4 fish in less than 2 months. I finally caught him and put him in a ten gallon tank by himself and he is one of the neatest pets I have ever had. not only is his colors striking but he has so much personality. But yes I cannot stress the importance of removing this very dangerous hitchhiker ASAP.
Good Luck

good luck, they are a pain to catch. if you can get the rock out that would probably work best. Also this is kind of neat, after you turn the light out on the tank listen and you can hear him hunting. it almost sounds like someone is throwing marbles at your glass. It is very loud. When I had mine in the main tank it actually woke my wife up and feaked her out. she thought someone was breaking into our house. I had to get her up and take her to our tank and have her listen. there have been reports of them actually breaking glass. I have a buddy who has a 5 inch peacock and he broke the glass on the heater!!!!!
