I have a pair of clowns and a pair of PJ cardinals. Could "baby fish" from them? I can't think of what else it could be . . . Let me know, and if one of the pairs spawned, why did never see eggs our "guarding" a spot by any of my fish? Watch this: DSCF1794.mp4 video by heidiiliff - Photobucket (http://s8.photobucket.com/albums/a15/heidiiliff/?action=view&current=DSCF1794.mp4)

Totally baby fishes~unless of course she's bought live mysid and nobody in her tank has eaten them. Maybe the mysid are breeding in her tank? Nope, I think they're baby fishes.

99% of the time mysids occur naturally from the LR and marine algae we put in our tanks. they have random exposions of populations in out tanks and then can dissappear for awhile rather quickly then jsut all of the sudden come back in mass #'s for our fish to snack on

So then it's possible they came in on her LR? Hmmm learn something new every day. I still think they're little fishes ;)

that and the freeze process doesnt always kill the eggs from my understanding as well ;) I have small populatons of zooplankton in my HOB fuge that come n go... or maybe my clowns are spawning and i never see them until large enough to photograph lol

ive heard of that b4 but never knew if it was true. sure is pretty cool though(especially if we could get somethin like cyclops to start breedin in there)

I'm 99.8% sure those are mysis.

As for the frozen egg thing... my understanding is that most frozen food is of freshwater origin. But I could be all wrong about that.

sorry miz, those are NOT baby fish. fishfry don't move like that, and i have them all over in my tank with no breeding pairs of anything. they are larval shrimp. most likely from cleaner shrimp, or peppermint shrimp.
Congrats heidi on the shrimp, make great fish food though they dont ever survive long.

I agree, I think they are shrimp of some form.
