#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Ok so i have about 12-13lbs of rock that was live not to long ago, But because of the Asapia outbreak in it and it was uncotrolable it was just steemed and all the rock was killed unfortuanly. So my question is, Well this rock have a huge nitrate spkie when i put it in? Even more so than what usually happens? Another question is well it have to be "re-cured"? if so about how long does that take? Thank you very much for your time#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

yeah you will have a spike just keep an eye on your parameters and maybe run some carbon. you will probably hahve to increase your water changes. but you should be allright.

If you are adding this to a tank with some good LR in it it should seed it back in no time. IMO the best way to reseed it would be to put it in a sump/refugium with other LR so that the pods and such are protected from predators in the main tank.
