Here's Jolly!! That is what my kids call this fun little fish. He spends most of his day in or near his hole. He loves to grab large mouthfuls of sand and spit them out of this cave. He can pick up very large chunks of rubble, this may sometimes include frags so glue them down unless you want them to be made into part of your jawfishes home. Timid at first once this little guy gets comfortable he is very entertaining to watch. He once grabbed a cleaner shrimp by its feeler and spit him away from his hole. Funny thing was the shrimp went back and let him do it about 3 more times before he learned his lesson and stayed away. They say these guys are jumpers, I have never had any of my fish jump including Jolly. Having deep substrate with sand in it is a must. Also you may want to secure your rock, the fav. spot is normally the sand under a rock so it tends to make things more unstable. I have prevented this by placing egg-crate under my rock and pushing the sand up around it.
