View Full Version : Large Reef Aquarium(91g-180g) 125 Starting Up
The tank is finally wet. Aquascaped it while it was dry and I think it looks pretty good. I left a lot of exposed sand bed and have minimal rock in contact with the sand (have about 3/4 inch of reef floor special grade). I am guessing I will have it completely full tonight or first thing tomorrow.
I kept the aquascape very simple keeping in mind what I want to keep. I figure a few weeks to cycle and then the first fish can go in.
I have to open the Genie in the Bottle later (denitrator) and I am doing that on the deck. It is like a 5000 year old bottled fart when you open one that has not been running in a while :)

Pics?!!!!
I will get some in a while. I have 40 gallons of water in the tank so far. Once it is running I will shoot some.
This is what I got so far guys. Once the lights are up it should be nice. I am putting the back ground on when I find a good black one.
the clowns form the saw are in the corner.

Where did you get the mounts for your lights? I'm working on a rimless 120 myself and am looking for something similar. Nice build though. I'm interested to see how this turns out in the long run.
I will have some for sale. If you want to come over and check them out your more than welcome to. I wont be charging what I paid either.

I think I am going to need some LEDs for my bio cube. Got any left overs?
Come over Adam. I even have heat sinks. I have drivers that I can give you a deal on depending on what you are looking for. All kinds of stuff

If it is even half the tank the last one was it will be great.
I will be watching this one develop.
I sure hope it is. I am working on it so we shall see. I will be a departure from my norm I can say for sure.
