OK. I'm not exactly sure what a powerhead is. Marine depot doesn't have anything under their powerhead selection. I've been told i should maybe have 2 powerheads for my main tank. (75g Main tank, with 29g sump, (Aqua C Skimmer, rio pump for skimmer, and mag drive 9.5 for return pump)). I'm not even sure what a "powerhead" is or how it works or how to hook it up. I would like some help with this because I have made my list of all of my other equipment and would like help with this so i know what to get. Thanks.

(Also, tank is 75g 48" 18" 20" L W H)

#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Wow somthing I can answear. Mind you its not as good of an answear some some other people will give you. But a powerhead basicly makes your water move. Kind of like it does in the ocean. Also some of them help with undergravel filtration. They are also very important for some coral. Hope that helps some. I sure others will come and give you more info.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

OK, awesome, thanks. Now i just have to select one.

My computer was being stupid so I wasn't able to see any powerheads, but it's working now so I can see what they look like and now get to see which one (or two) is best to use. If you or anyone else has any suggestions, I'm more then happy to listen to them.
Tanks a 75g with a 29g sump.

Thanks.

Cant go wrong with Maxi-Jets, Maxi-Jets are the best powerheads you can buy if you ask me. I would suggest 2 Maxi-jet 1200's for your 75G.#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

I actually looked into those, but I think the Seio 620 super flow might be a better idea. I don't know, just my opinion. If it don't work out, I'll try the maxi jets. :-)

The seios or grate iv been running 2 almost from the time thea come out
you can get a lot of water movement from them
Like all power heads just clean them ever other month and Thea will last a long time

Yea, i noticed the price. I might regret not getting them later on, but for now, the Seio should be fine (probably will have two 620's)
