Just did a WC and removed more water then I had made up. Sooooo I topped off with 1g plain water and now my sg is 1.023, not where it's always/supposed to be at 1.025. I'm anal this way.

What's the *easiest* way to raise it up to 1.025?

Evaporation - Just replace evaporated water with saltwater until you reach the desired salinity. Slow changes in salinity are better.

+1 just top off the rest of the week with saltwater rather than RO water and it will slowly raise, keep an eye on it though

Or you could have dumped some of the water change water back in....

Just throw a scoop of salt into the display. That won't hurt anything right? :smash: :silly:

When I had it happen, I just took a big glass of water out and added 1/4 cup of salt to it and mixed it then poured it back. Check the SG and repeat as needed.

When people do hypo for fish, they usually drop salinity fast, but raise it quite slow. I would just top with saltwater until your there and quit worrying about it, goofball, lol.

Just joshing you, Rick.
