One of my perculas died tonight. :( He was recent addition on the 10th. He was eating great, hanging out with other perc, hosting my anemones. He was doing awesome up until the about Wednesday when I noticed him swimming in one spot, fins all tucked up, ignoring food. Steady decline until tonight. He didn't show any signs of ich All parameters are in range, no major changes to tank, and everyone else is great. Hmm, just can't figured out what caused him to bite the big one. Any ideas?

From the sounds of it he was gettng along with the rest of his tankmates.... Generally you'd think if health beyond a couple weeks they are going to be just fine... that really sucks rocks.... sorry dude. Was he a local purchase or shippped?

Those were my basic thoughts too. He was a local purchase. Looked good at the store. Weird.

Internal parasites can also be an issue. Sorry about the loss.
