#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#I was reading on another post and maybe I misundedrstood them but I thought they were saying that for a 55 gallon tank that the person needed more than 2 - Maxi Jet 1200's for corals.#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

your in a corner tank so the current is going to behave different than a standard shape tank

for a 45gal, I would strive for at least 25x turnover(i prefer around 40x)Reagrdless of its dimensions. That calculates to 1125gph.Remenber,this flow should be in the tank, not through the sump.(edit)I just realised you dont have a sump)All you need through the sump is around 500GPH IMO for that size tank. That is of course if you have a large sump.small sumps require even less flow. So,IMO i dont think you have enough flow

Get you a SEIOS 620 or an 820 and ditch the MJ600,the SEIO 620/820 and the MJ 1200 would be sufficient IMO.The beauty of the SEIOS is they move alot of water(620gph) but at a low velocity unlike the MJ-1200's.These types of powerheads would really serve a tank of your dimensions well
