View Full Version : Disaster & Prevention Drywall dust: do I need to worry?
I just learned that our office renovation is more extensive than I realized, which will include knocking down several walls in my area. The new concern is for the nano that is just coming on line.... how much do I need to worry about drywall dust seeing into the open top tank?

I would think, some anyways. There's always cellophane and or cheese cloth. But definitely cover it with something. At least while they're working.

I work construction drywall drust can be very problimatic with reef tanks. I would cover the tank with plastic drop clothes of some sort.
Thanks folks. I can close my door, and probably use some cloths too, but that dust always gets everywhere. I guess I could make a cover out of acrylic. I hear that Lowe's will cut acrylic to shape.
