Ther's lots of LED's to choose from and lot's of price's.Knowing what you want to keep in the tank and what kinda cash your willing to spend would help allot

Im using the evolution led fixtures. They are 120 watts 20k. Each fixture will cover a 2x2 area. They are also pretty reasonable.

If I used two of those 2x2's that would be perfect, price range im sure...If its awesome does its job and looks good at the same time I wont mind forking out the cash.

If you feel that way about it then BUY the AI sol super blues or whites.Nothing on the market is more adjustable, more user friendly(with there controler) or produces the same personal prefrence apperance and par levels.Well worth the 525.00 per moduale price tag. Here's a link

Aqua Illuminations 2 Modules Kit - AquaCave (http://www.aquacave.com/aqua-illuminations-br2-modules-kit-3342.html)

Aqua cave has complete package deals and they have the fastest delivery deal worked out with ai.This should do your tank just fine.If you look in the hardware area a few of use just got them and there's pics of the finished set up.

+1 Love mine!

If you go this route make sure to go around and look for aqua cave codes for 5% off. There was one on RC (not sure if it is still there) I got like $75 off

ok I for sure want this, now the question becomes a matter of what options to choose, white or blue? 36" or 48" rail..and the optional hanging kit?

Go for the blue, the third bulb color gives you much more adjustability.
The mounting system depends on how you intend to mount it. I didn't use any of their mounting hardware myself since I put mine in my existing canopy and wanted to be able to move the fixtures both side to side and front to back until I had best coverage.

If you mount them parallel with the tank like I did their rails will not work as they are designed to mount the fixtures perpindicular to the tank.

I used what is called T Track and is used in woodworking to make fences, jigs and fixtures like a saw fence or router table fence. You can find it at Rockler Woodworking and its very inexpensive. I mounted two pieces front to back and one parallel so it slides in the other two and the fixtures slide in the long piecs so I have movement in all directions. Mounted to the roof of my canopy it put the fixtures exactly 12" above the water line.

How did you mount the T-track to the modules? are they just screwed on?

AZDesertRat

The two #10-24 screws on the top of the AI modules slide in the channel of the T Track so I can move them where I please.
