Ghetto Photo Contest!

So for this contest I've decided that I want to see your ghetto fixes!

Whether it be a ghetto tape job to stop a leak, a ghetto hanging kit, a ghetto frag rack, if you've got it I want to see it!

Winners will receive an all inclusive zoa frag of my choice (oh I've got nice ones!)!

Winners will be chosen by Jim and I, we will judge on creativity, usefulness, and the amount of dgaf involved :thumbsup:

1 ENTRY PER MEMBER
YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 50 POSTS ON CR
PICTURES MUST BE YOUR OWN

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES WILL BE JUNE 19TH AT 9PM PST.

here's my ghetto hanging kit for my Tek t5 fixture

made from 2 "desk/dresser" sliders

its so i can slide the light out of hte way to get into the tank if i need too.
even the eye hooks on the light are from the hardware store.

hasnt fell in 5 months lol i knew it would come in handy somehow

This is my light fixture it only covers 3/4 of my tank so i have to have all the corals in the middle of tank lol.When i turn it on two of the bulbs have to be turned and twisted just to get them to work and only one fan works,and it just sits up there so when i go to lift the top to twist the bulb i have to be careful so the fixture doesnt slide off into the tank.Now thats as ghetto as it gets.

What really puts BK's Reef over the top is the wall behind it...not only the unfinished car, but also the crisp lines at the ceiling. Great job framing your project photo!

Congrats BK! There was no way you could of lost with that pic. Jim said it perfect, between the hook holding the light up on a string, the beautiful paintjob on the wall corners and then the custom pencil/pen car drawing....it just "completes" the whole picture
