View Full Version : Awesome Chalice care?

I can't find any care info on these. Placement, flow and feeding. I've got it mid-level under t5ho and low to medium flow. However it's not showing mouth colors and is totally pink. Very pretty but I though they were tri-colored.

I also have a Holly Wood stunner that's placed low~medium flow and is growing wonderfully.

Do I treat the two the same?

low to medium light usually do chalices well.

as far as tri color? every chalice is different well not every but not all are tri color.some are single some are 2 some have more than 3.

We keep all are chalices on the bottom. And they all grow like weeds.

there was a good right up on this a few months back in coral reef mag the rule of thump they used is the thicker the chalice the more flow and lighting it will take i have 3 chalice under my t5 all our thick and i keep mine up towards the top in a lot of flow i no for sure the hollywood stun is a low flow low light as u can see that is is thin crust and brakes realy easy in high flow our just from touching it hope this helps i can get the vol # of the mag if u want

Just an FYI remember, almost all sellers shoot their pictures under heavy actinic or some type of lighting to make the colors pop out. This means that what you see won't really be what you get unless you like having a blue tank.
