Nope, but as they state that they are not well known, that is understandable. The fixture "looks" to be built well and they are using higher quality bulbs... I guess, it's worth a try... have you considered any type of DIY methods???

Yea i have, DIY would be the exact same set up acually ...i just stumbled across this and was like wow 14k phinox bulbs and t5's hmmm lol i was kinda shoked.by eliminating the DIY hood i would have to make to house the HQI's and t5's would save money, time and be cooler(heat seems like it can be an issue) although i like the look of an enclosed light system... hmmm

i origanaly was going to get two hamilton reefstars 150w HQI's and two retro t5's but it would run me about a $100 dollors more, and i would have to build the hood...

i'll have to weigh things in my mind a bit , there are definitly some pro's and con's...

i have another question ....is it true that HQI bulbs put out more light per watt(so to speak)
then mogel and SE mh?

not necessarily true, the small size of the DE bulbs allow for a more efficient parabolic refector so there's less re-strike,resulting in more useable light output. Many mogul based bulbs are tested on M58 ballasts, fire a 250w mogul Xm10k(or many bulbs for that matter) on a M80 ballast and it will rival many DE bulbs.

I'm going to mull it over a bit and ask some more ppl but.....HEY wait, your in my other thread about the 40 breeder :)

Yea i like bing able to pick out my equipment so i prolly will go with a retro fit and a couple pennets, ill have to think about it ...its just apealing to not have to build anything and the fixture is a lil cheaper ill have to do the math one more time :p thanx for the info/opinion!!
