I have no idea what this thing is, I found it when I was inspecting my LR when I first got it and decided to leave it in and find out (because that whats so awesome about LR). It doesnt move and its soft but not squishy like sea-hare or anomie. I will take another photo in a week or so to see if it grows. I have been looking everywhere online and it kind of looks like a pink sea apple to me, but I have only seen pictures of them so Im not sure. Anyone have any ideas?

pink sponge?
No, I don't think its a sponge, its smooth not porous. It feel almost like epoxy when it is setting, still a little soft.

It hasn't moved yet even when i poke at it, when i first saw it I thought for sure it was a cucumber too

So far I haven't noticed any type of feeding, it does look like it has almost a filter feeder-ish end. I need to
start checking later night, maybe its nocturnal.
 Now I really want to know! I will try and get some better pics soon so we can ID this sucker

Yup, that looks like it. The end just opened up a few days ago, so I'm quessing its a type of sea squirt aswell. Am I correct?

Yeah probably. It was on some live rock i had in my sump. They looked like stones that had a hole that closed up. Cool little things, but eventually died because flow changed in the sump
