CR Tee Shirts Re-Order

Going to try to get some more shirts ordered. Please use the poll above to help me with getting an idea of interest level and size distribution. While this isn't an obligation to purchase, please don't vote if you have no interest at all. Feel free to post as you have been regarding any thing special you would like to see.

If a tank towel with an embroidered CR logo was available, would you spend $15 on it? Would you prefer a small hand towel or standard size bath towel?

Oh and my old neighbor does embroidering (for the towels), has that big fancy machine that is like 10ft long. Do you have a place doing it or are you wanting to get prices?

My grandma does the embroidery...hoping she is up for it..guess it depends on the interest level how many she will be able to do. The CR logo is already digitized in the format for her machine (janome).

poll option is there now...you can add multiple votes. I also included a vote for the idea on the number of towels and added some color options to the poll for the shirts. We will likely pick the two most popular colors...need to see how the screen printer will deal with it for pricing.

I'd say one dark blue shirt, one grey, and 2 hand size captive reef towels. I'd be more liable to pay 10 rather than 15 for the hand towel though I guess it depends on the quality/ thickness absorbancy.

I'll feel a lot more comfortable ordering the shirts if we have interest in 25-30 of them based on the poll. I need to order 50 to get a reasonable discount on them which would allow me to keep the price at $10 each. I can probably also offer discounts for purchasing multiples...for example 3 for $25. (These prices aren't firm, but throwing it out to give you guys a ball park of what they will be.)

The towels are one of those things we can do in small increments. The shirts...probably need to order next week to get them in time for the A2 swap. Of course, for out of state members and members that can't make the swap, I will ship them.

Okay put us down for 3 shirts 1 gray, 1 black, XL 1 light blue L the wife wants one as I convinced her to help sell raffle tickets at the A2 swap so she wants to look the part, which is a big step for the lady who gets irritated at how much "that D*amn Fish tank" (her name for it) costs. In for towels too when those come up. Only 47 more to go.

Jim- stick with the same brand shirts you went with last time. They are quality shirts, dont shrink much, and last through many many washes. Mine is still pretty close to good as new, and I have worn the heck out of it! If you stick to the same brand as last time, I will order more than 1, if there is 2 choices in color, with confidance that I am not getting a cheap shirt, that will not last.

Last time you made shirts, I expected some cheap shirts, due to the price. I was very wrong, and still cant beleive my old one has held up 2 years already!

I did this last time and both people that said they wanted them were MIA once they were in hand. I'm not opposed to adding some to the order, but don't want to get stuck with them either. If you are 90% sure you would like a hoodie, add your desired color/size and I'll see what I can do. They were more expensive than the tees. I think it was still less than $25.

I'll see what I can do. I need to talk to the tee shirt place about changing colors around. I don't think it will be a problem to get different shirt colors, however I think that I will need to stick with the same print color. ...meaning we may need to stay with darker color shirts if the print color is lighter. Hopefully will have more answers on that later today...

Just found out I need to order shirts by tomorrow to get them in time for the A2 swap. :eek:

Pricing will be as follows:

tee shirts $12 each
pocket tees $15 each
hoodies $25 each

For members not attending the A2 swap, I can ship them for a flat fee of $7 priority mail.

As for colors, we'll go with three shirt colors... black (white print), dark blue, (white print) and grey (dark blue print). Changing print colors adds cost so we will stick to only two print colors.

lauraandlarry if you want pink, we can do that too...do you want dark blue print or white print on the pink shirts? Anyone else that wants pink please let me know size (you can pm if you want ;) and print color.

bibs are white with pink logo for girls. I doubt I will have the bibs or many towels in time for the A2 swap. But will see what I can do.

By hoodie, just to clarify, I am talking about pull overs. If you want zip up, I think they are probably a few dollars more.

Be sure to include a CR teeshirt 2.0 in your budget for the upcoming swap. Once I have them in hand, I will add them into the CR proshop for purchase as well.

They are available in blue, black, and grey. Price is going to be $12 each.

I wore my new CR shirt today. I bought a scratch off lottery ticket just to see if it worked. I won a small jackpot. Perhaps I should have gotten a bigger size.
