I think this is a terrible idea... it makes me mad how many jellyfish are going to be lost over this:

iam sure they said that about us reef keepers when it all started but if done right might be a good idea plus i don't think a jelly fish life span is that long

I think they are neat... But it's seems like one of those things that after it was there a while it would get kinda boring to watch. I would much rather have a little pico with a mantis shrimp err something on my dest to watch. To each is there own.

In the hands of a responsible owner I think it's a great idea.

I agree that in the correct hands this might work out. I just picture all of the people out there that have never owned a tank and just wants something cool on their desk...

Looks really cool but there will be deaths by inexperienced people but the money that he was talking about is not how much the tank is/will be that is a donation toward the creation of the tanks and if you spend a butt load then you get bumped up to the top of buying one. These things look sweet but..........

It's $350 now, which includes a $50 voucher toward the beginner pack which has 3 jellys in it and is $150. So that's $100 additional. So for $450 you get the complete setup, including the jellys. Unfortunately, while that is a lot of money, I don't think it's much of anything for a lot of people that want something amazing on their desk.
