#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#I just arrived home and found my juvenile Blue Tang sucked sideways on the bottom of the Aquaclear 50 powerhead. I turned it off and got her unsucked and she immediately swam off, but now shes swimming crooked and has a circle indention on her side. Should I be concerned and is there a way to attempt to prevent this. Thank you. This hobby is a never ending learning process!!!#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

Do you have a guard filter on the powerhead?

The aquaclear PH's are horrible for this... hence any I have are now used as regular pumps or for mixing saltwater. Replace it with a safer powerhead... MaxiJet's for a smaller tank would work well, their guard is very effective against sucking up critters.

he should be allright, he just probably got mooshed a little. just keep an eye on him and replace the powerhead, like dakar said get something with some sort of guard on it or I can almost guarntee that it will happen again.
