My Frag Tank has no Fish or Inverts so there is no added food or waste in the Tank.

I use RO/DI Water.

And my light is just a Double T5 (Not even HO) .

Aquarium Lighting Fixture Coralife Aqualight T5 Dual Linear Strip Fixture, 2X14 Watt, 24 inch (http://www.marineandreef.com/Aqualight_T5_Aquarium_Lighting_Coralife_p/res58020.htm)

So I figured that I would have no Algae at all in my Tank.

But I realized today that there is Algae on the Front Glass and some of my Frags have Hair Algae at their bases.

I was wondering what I should do for a Clean Up Crew for my Frag Tank.

All my other Tanks have Hermit Crabs but they always tip over my Frags.

I have never tried Snails.

Would they also tip over my Frags?

What do you guys suggest to get rid of this Algae Problem that I have? :fish2:

Skimmer? How big is the tank? How long do you run the lights? The snails that would consume the HA would be the Mexican Turbos and yes they would knock everything over. Might be a job but maybe removing a frag at a time and scrubbing off the algae. Making sure to rinse them good before putting them back in the tank. Sounds like it still may be a lighting issue to me.

My Tank is 10 Gallons.

I run the Lights about 8 Hours a Day.

Is that too much Light or to little? :fish2:

Def not to much light~might even be to little~your looking at a little over 2w per gallon~recommended is usually 3-4 per. What about your water changes? How often and how much? Are you dosing your tank with anything? What about food for your corals? Adding anything at all? Are you having any coral losses at all? Sorry for the questions but algae has a starting point and I'm trying to figure what's feeding it? The 2 main food sources for green algae would be light and nutrients.

The Light Fixture is Brand New with New Bulbs.

If I upgraded the Light wouldn't that just cause more of an Algae problem? :fish2:
