View Full Version : Half Pink Half Blue Worm?

We just saw a worm not sure what it is or if its good or bad, but it looked kinda like a caterpillar and was almost exactly half pink and half blue. Im gonna post a pic but the quality pry wont be very good.

OK thought they where all mainly brown. Ive been seeing bristle worm traps at some lfs saying they will "eat your most priced specimens" is there any truth to that.

That is a red worm (bristle worm) that is full of something which gives him that look.

By full of something do you mean something it ate? I haven't fed my tank at all yet.

White bristle worms will harm nothing in your tank. They are scavengers. Eating any an all uneaten foods and dead things.

Till ya grab hold of it, along with the rock its on!!!

The brisles, of the worm, embedded in the skin, can be a minor-sub major irritant to people. Try not to grab one of these.
