When i was eating breakfast my girlfriend called me to our tank and said she had found yet another weird inhabitant and that it looked like a worm or a snake after looking for a few minutes and not seeing what she was talking about i caught a glimpse. Just briefly because as soon as it sees any bit of light it jolts back in its hole very quick. So I charged our camera left the light off put my flash on and got these pictures of it. I have looked at the id sites that I saw on michigan reefers the sites had so many types I could not tell so im hoping someone can help.

They are a lot bigger pics when I viewed them on my photoviewer I think photbucket cut em down hopefully you guys can still see.

So my lights just turned on and i noticed now its pushing white stuff out of its hole maybe LR shavings.

My guess is its a peanut worm from researching all day if you guys cant see it its a brownish color with lighter kinda white strips in between my two pieces of rock its almost touching the substrate in on picture.

Yup looks like a peanut worm to me too-took me a bit to see it :)

Yes that is a peanut worm. Very good for tank but really ugly. lol.
