Couldn't find my new six line wrasse for a while. Finally found him on the floor outside my tank which sucks because he was one of my favorite fish I have got so far. I didnt have a lid because my t5ho covers almost all of the top. Not sure what options are out there what has everyone used if they have used a lid.

Sorry to hear of your loss, after I lost my leopard wrasse I cut a piece of egg crate to cover the top. It sets on the inner rim of the trim. Doesn't look real pretty but better than losing a fishie

Check with Jimsflies, he used to have a ton of bird netting that he was selling for reefers to make screen tops out of. They work like a charm and are cheap/easy to build. All supplys can be purchased at Lowes.
