I have had this skimmer for just over a week. It started pulling tons of skimmate as soon as I got it going. Its still working great the only thing i didnt like was the horrible instructions. I had to call the company and they quickly had me have it up and running. The only physical problem I have had with the unit is one I caused I let the collection cup fall of the counter and it cracked instantly. I am trying to find out if anyone knows of a site that may sell replacement collection cups. Im guessing kees could probably get one but I would like to cut out the middle man and get it shipped to my house I think it would get to my house sooner than the store and If I the store got it its a forty five minute drive to get there.

That is a great idea and should work just fine. And if he is willing to do it for you even better! I have used weldon products on acrylic (thats is what its for lol) this will be very functional. If you just cant stand the thought of a cracked cup I would contact coralvue, customer service is top notch and they will take care of you.
Customer service phone number Ph: 985-781-9078 in case you need it.
