#ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#I just bought a new skimmer. It's an ASM G3. Does anyone have this skimmer? I have heard a lot of good things about the ASM skimmers. I was just wondering if anyone had any problems with theirs? I've been thinking about getting a new skimmer for a while now, I just didn't want to have tear my sump apart to fit it in. I finally decided to do it. I now have to move the baffles about 6 inches. GRRRR Is there a way to move them without having to empty the sump?(some kind of silicone I can use underwater?) What is the best way to remove the silicone holding the baffles in place? #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Sorry for all of the questions, but the skimmer should be here Monday or Tuesday and I want to have the sump ready. I have a Pro Clear aquatics skimmer now.........I can't wait to get a real skimmer and see all of the crap the pro clear skimmer was NOT skimming out. #ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#TIA,#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl##ed_op#DIV#ed_cl#Angie#ed_op#/DIV#ed_cl#

I've got a G3 skimmer and I love it. Super easy to use and when you get it dialed in, it pulls the crud. My only beef with it, and it's probably the same with most skimmers, is that it'll work well for a while then it will start skimming poorly and you readjust it and it works great for a while again. Nothing major since they're easy to adjust.
