i need some help making my final decision on lighting for my 29gl nano tank. what would work best out of the two set ups (20" 223W Metal Halide Fixture & Ballast System (3 power cords version)) or a (orbit 2X65w (1) 65w Dual Daylight and (1) 65w Dual Actinic) or a (30" Coralife Aqualight Dual Linear Strip (130W Total) w/ 2X 65W -Bulbs are offset -Comes with two 50/50 bulbs)

thanks again

the only problem that i am having is finding a light that will fit a 29 with mounting legs attached. if anyone can find a better alt. could you please point me in the right direction.

thanks

Personally, I like Current USA lighting products (The first link).
And that is a real nice fixture for a 29G tank.

MH......the only reason I don't have it (and why I think others that don't have it also don't) is money......... :)

MH setups can be reto'd together often cheaper than PC setups.A single 250wMH can be done for $125.As for your tank, how long is a 29?

David, A 29G is 30" in length.

I had to edit my post that said "the second link" Unless those links changed, I made a mistake and should have said I would prefer the one in the First link! :-?

Mh cost more if you get a complete setup. But if you can do a little DIY it can
be the cheapest one to set up.
