How do you set up your signature of your controller so others can see the status?

Well, I've seen it before. I wish I could post my controller status on here.

I prefer using RussM's site, Reeftronics (http://www.reeftronics.net/) . Although he doesn't have the signature generator, his site will notify you if communication is broken between your controller and the monitoring. This often can mean there is a power outage. In a power outage, you won't get the notification from your controller of the power being out until it comes back on (unless you have a backup power source on your modem and router...and the internet connection isn't impacted by the power outage).

I am vehemently against putting controller status in forum sigs... they are big, distracting, and rarely are any concern or interest to anyone else. Do you give a hoot about what my tank's temperature is at? And I don't really care if your lights are on or not. :eek:
