Well we have made a few changes as a lot of you already know but there will still be a west side swap this spring.

The GRMAS and MMMC have partnered up to combine a couple of our events to make each event even larger then any in the past. The first event was the Lansing swap that occured in January, with 550-600 people in attendance was easily the largest saltwater event in Michigan.

Next on the schedule is going to be a workshop and swap on April 28th, 2012, in Zeeland, MI at the Howard Miller Community Center located at:

There will be three presentations and workshops, including GFO regeneration presented by dejavu, a photography workshop presented by BeakerBob and a presentation by Dr. Sanjay Joshi. There will also be a swap as well with another nice raffle.

More details on the timeline of the event will be posted in this thread. Workshop participants will have early swap admission and get a free gift bag from Drs. Foster and Smith! Admission to the workshop is free! Attendees of the workshop also get into the swap EARLY and for NO CHARGE!

Event Details:

Workshop will start at 10 am and run until about 12:30. Speakers will be Dr. Sanjay Joshi, BeakerBob doing photography and Dejavu doing GFO Regeneration.

Swap will be open to the public from 1-4 pm with the raffle the last hour.

Workshop is free admission and also gets you into the swap early - when the presentations are done, you get early entrance into the swap. People who just want to hit the swap will have to pay admission and wait until 1 pm to get in.

Table pricing:

Tables are standard 6' tables.

$20 for a 1/2 table with power - includes 1 admission
$40 for full table with power - includes 2 admissions
$15 - 1/2 table NO power - includes 1 admission

Swap admission:

Free to GRMAS, MMMC and MASM members.

$5 per person, kids (16 and under) FREE with adult admission.

well it would be an early drive.....like 1 am early...hmmmm...what time is set up though??

just remembered about the time zone jump...we would have to leave hear at midnight on fri to get there in time....so with that..we will be passing on this one...will do lansing when that one comes up.

Setup is Saturday morning, starts at 9 am for setup (might be able to arrange 8 am if absolutely needed). Swap will be from the time the workshop ends (swap will open for the workshop attendees) and then run until 4 pm. General public will be allowed to enter the swap starting at 1 pm.

Tanglover I sent you a PM asking for a full powered table vendor spot if there is room. It's an 8hr drive one way and I lose an additional hour from the time zone change, but I have some packed frag tanks and would have a boatload of corals to bring to the event.

Very excited!! I'd love to be at this one!!
