Is it ok to clean your temp and pH probe with vinegar? I have a little coraline that built up on them and i'd like to clean and recalibrate them. This won't ruin the sensors will it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can only speak to the temperature probes that I have experience with (Apex.) As they are sealed, vinegar is fine (warmed it works faster.) According to Neptune, the temp probes on the Apex is factory calibrated and unlike most probes, doesn't normally need to be re-calibrated.

pH probes can also be cleaned using vinegar, but you will need to re-calibrate them after cleaning. A soft bristle toothbrush can also be used to gently brush off any sediment.

Thank you for the feedback. I have Neptune AC jr so that's good to know about the temp probe. I will try some vinegar and warm water to get these cleaned up.
