View Full Version : Hydor Slim Skim Nano Protein Skimmer.

This is less then 24hrs after running in tank. Great foam action and wow talk about quiet. I'm sitting 2 1/2' from the tank and don't hear a thing. My verdict's not completely in yet but so far it gets a 2 :thumbsup::thumbsup: from me.

Two weeks and really beginning to pick out the gunk. Still tweaking with it a little, trying to get the surface skimming regular. A lot depends on the water level, grrr.

An auto top of will help keep this skimmer rockin much more efficiently.

I have been eyeballing this little guy for my nano... what did you do with the old skimmer? want to sell me it ;)... no really do ya?

Trust me Heidi you wouldn't want my old one. It is soooo loud!

OH yes I would Mizzy!! I would mod it to make it what I needed :) I am really wanting a little something for the nano, but I am WAY over my budget as of now... gotta keep the "Money" happy you know. :big_grin:
