Ok, my tang and flame just died of ich, and now my lion is in
quarantine...I put him in a 10 gal, with a millenium 2000 filter, and
heater....i put 5 drops/ 10 gal in the tank instead of the usual 1
drop/ gal since the lion is extremely sensitive to copper....how do i
go about feeding in the quarantine tank? Also, what is the best method
to take a fish from the show tank to the quaruantine tank?

Why copper, they make a med for treating Ich for SW fish.Ich is usually brought on by stress IME.After the ich has been killed off of your lionfish from the meds in the hospital tank,I'd allow him to q-tine for at least a few days before returning him to the display.Hopefully someone will chime in here and can tell you the life-cycle of the parasite so you know how long that time wil be.
AS for feeding your lion,i'd only feed it very sparingly, watch those nitrogen levels and do waterchanges as needed to keep the water quality good in the hospital tank

Acutally the life cycle of the ich parasite is 28 days ( +/- a few days depending on temp). Even when the symptoms no longer appear that generally means the parasite has released it'sspores and they are now free roaming looking for a new host to begin their life cycle. If they can't find a new host they will die off.
There should be a good article about ich on here, do a search for hyposalinty and that should bring it up, it will explain it in greater detail.

Most recommend to leave the tank empty for 6 to 8 weeks

Ok, what exactly should i use to treat ich with? Just to make sure we are on the same page, the lion has small, white , pin-sized spots on him. So I think that is ich... I have a goby and 2 chromis left in the tank...they seem fine (the goby isn't sifting as much.)...should i put them in quarantine as well?
