Attached is a photo of a tiny brittle star that must have come in on a piece of live rock, or with some live sand.

That's a cutie! I've never seen one like that, and white too! It's very pretty. Is it getting along with all the other tank inhabitants?

Reefer version of winning the lotto buying a rock and or something for your tank and then finding out you got a good hitchhiker. looks like you hit the lotto

I guess, unless he is the one who has been eating my Zoas.
Actually, I found him about 6 hours after I took a piece of Lice rock out, and broke it into pieces, so I could have smaller rocks to attach Frags, and mushrooms to. Many of the small rocks went into the tank in the corner he was in, and later that day is when I saw him on the glass. The next day, I saw the arms, about .5 to 1 inch he below the top of the shell bed, But have not seen him since.

I have a bunch of small Brittle stars in my tank. The only time I see the small ones is around feeding time and then you see all the small little legs waving in the current from under rocks.
