Got my G3

I set up my refug the other day I have tried to fire up my g3 but so far no luck it starts blowing bubbles and goes completly crazy over filling the cub with foam that is really fine water. I am not treating the tank with anything just trying to get it to run right it's a stright g3 with no mods. I would like to get this baby doing some serious skimming.. please help me skim!

You might try running the skimmer in the bathtub with some hot water for an hour or so. This will help wipe out the oil and grim on the inside of the skimmer which could be causing some of overflow. Also is you have a cup drain hose, you can just let this drain back into the tank until you start seeing a slow down in the foam.

I JUST HAD THE SAME PROBLEM LAST NITE, TRY LOWERING THE OUTLET PIPE ALMOST EVEN W/ THE FOAM.
